Founded 1971 as American Municipal Bond Assurance Corporation,MBIA has over $66 billion in fixed income assets under management.It's a bad news that Shares of bond insurers MBIA Inc. and Ambac Financial Group tumbled after Moody's Investors Service said MBIA could lose its AAA credit rating.
